The First Settlement of the Northwest Territory, Marietta Ohio, has a rich and long history. Two photographs were edited to become one showing the relationship between the time we live in and the times that came before. The black and white photograph was double exposed to overlay the current day Marietta in the same location. This conceptual work is meant to remind us to appreciate where we are at a given time and think about those who walked the same path before us.
